Abarth uses a completely different clutch type than the standard 500, so that isn't relevant. The switch gear on the manual felt very cheap and the knobs flimsy too me, compared to Honda product. More to go wrong on the climate control one. I went the climate control way. Couldn't get heated seat without it. Even though the Abarth, is the tuned version of Fiats popular 500, it is just as reliable to own and run, and because of its increased performance, its brilliant fun to use on a daily basis. It’s build quality is excellent, and has a particular charm all of its own. I had the turbo completely go out, no clear reason, dealer couldn't even tell me why it happened, just that it failed, CEL didn't even come on, but four days of a loaner and $0 later it's ch2y.
